Meet The Team

Shannon Harris, MPT

Co-Founder / MPT, OCS/ Creator of The Bowstring Method of manual physical therapy

Shannon Harris, MPT, OCS is co-founder of Body Reform®, and the creator of The Bowstring Method of advanced manual therapy. He has a Master of Physical Therapy degree and is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

With knowledge gained through tens-of-thousands of treatments, advanced specialty training, and a healthy dose of creativity, Shannon’s Bowstring Method® of bodywork creates consistency of tone. It improves function and mobility within individual muscles, throughout muscle groups, and between related regions of the body. Shannon’s system of manual therapy is proving to be truly groundbreaking in his field of expertise, enabling him to rapidly improve the body’s resilience by eliminating months, years, or even decades of accumulated restrictions that limit physical potential and lead to stiffness, injury and pain.

Shannon’s hour-long sessions combine the The Bowstring Method® and physical therapy techniques for uniquely-effective treatments, but the comprehensive experience goes beyond his amazing bodywork. Clients frequently comment on the trust level they feel with Shannon. He has an innate ability to put people at ease by listening to them and educating them in clear and understandable language.

Shannon serves as part-time faculty at Mount Saint Mary’s Doctoral Physical Therapy program and provides instruction and advice to bodyworkers of varied backgrounds at his facility in Beverly Hills.
